And to think that Bush and Company puts in $176 million dollars of tax payers' money ANNUALY toward a program that everyone but the ignorati knows doesn't work.
The study found that those who attended abstinence classes averaged the same number of sexual partners than those kids who did not. In addition, the onset of sexual activity was no different. The abstinence class participants had sex at about the same age than the control group - 14 years and 9 months.
It should be obvious what BushCo will do in response to this new study - intimidate the researchers to shut their mouths, attack the credibility of the researchers, re-word the data in their favor and pump more money into abstinence programs.

Yes. That is an unfortunate reality. But if abstenence doesn't work, then what will? Obviously, people practicing "safe sex" using condoms and birth control pills aren't "safe" either. Do we really have any other option besides abstinence? And not only are there phisical consequences to having sex outside of marrage, but alot of emotional as well. When you have sex with someone you are permanently attached to them... especially for the first time. And what if your relationship with that person maybe doesn't get worse... maybe you end up marrying that person. Wouldn't it be a little bit more fun and exciting and romantic on your honeymoon if you've never experianced somthing like it before? Or what if you finally end up marrying the person of your dreams... do you really want to remember your highschool sweetheart while your kissing your spouse?
Fact: sleeping around can kill you.
Fact: condoms only reduce your chances of pregnancy and STD's by 50 percent
Fact:People get pregnant while using birth control all the time
Fact: people still get STD's from oral sex
Fact:having abortions and taking abortifacients(morning after pill/RU-486) is murder.
Is there really any better choice than to be abstinent?
one small correction on the previous comment. Fact #5 states that abortion and abortifacients = murder. That is not correct. Abortions are a legal and moral form of birth control.
